Every birthday in the past, I have truly felt it was the best one. So it's no different this year that I feel was the best one ever! Usually I have everything planned out weeks in advance of what I want to do to celebrate, but I was stumped this year. (Can you tell that I am obsessed with my birthday?) I kept telling Ian so many different things that I wanted that he just gave me the money and told me to go shopping. I was very okay with this present and shopped all day on Friday. I forgot what it felt like to have cash in my pocket and actually buy something!
Saturday morning I had breakfast with Ian and my parents. We just lounged around for a while then got ready for the day. Ian didn't complain once about what I wanted to do so we shopped a little at Target and at the mall. He is so great...especially on special days. I really love blossoming trees so I wanted to get some spring pictures together. Even though it was overcast and breezy we got some great pictures. Afterwards we ate at Happy Sumo and it was as delicious as ever! Not the sushi of course! YUCK! But Ian loves it so he ordered some along with his meal. NOTE TO SELF... I will not let him eat sushi for a long time! See end of entry
We bought Just Like Heaven on DVD and stopped on the way home at Cold Stone and picked up the Ultimate Bucket for dessert. Half way through the movie, Ian turns to me and says he doesn't feel so well. He looked fine...until 5 minutes later when his face was green! He threw up for about 5 minutes. Poor guy! Other than that...this birthday was the best ever!

Ian has the funniest routine when he eats sushi so I had to capture a picture of it! And yes, that is the sushi that was hurled!
