Why, Thank You!
Lately I have noticed how nice the ward ladies are. Last night as I talked to most of them, they either had something nice to say to me or about someone else. They don't gossip. They don't back bite. They don't acknowledge any faults. They are such an example to me to be more complimenting to everyone I meet. It just makes you feel so good and who doesn't want to feel good.
I made a cake for the service auction and I think I rounded up some new business. I really miss making cakes. The last cake I made was almost a year ago, but I think it is my favorite. Now, don't think for a second that I have forgotten of how stressful it was...making sure the cake didn't fall...getting the frosting to be a smooth as silk...and especially delivering the cake and praying it doesn't get demolished. But I love seeing the outcome and the smile on the customers face!
Ian started his new job today and I am so nervous for him. Not that I doubt his amazing abilities to get along with everyone and hone his fast learning skills, but just the thought of doing something new...he will do fantastic!
Well I am off to hone my own skills...trying to create fabulous layouts so more submissions will get accepted. I hope a dry spell isn't a brew!
