Ian and I were talking last night that we live in "THAT" neighborhood. No, not the one with the loud neighbors who party loud all hours of the night and not the neighborhood where you have to lock your doors behind you and have bars on the windows. We live in the neighborhood that you would find in an old movie with the neighbors that bring by treats just because they had extra...with the neighbors that mow your lawn for you because you looked a little tired when you came home from work...with the neighbors that have a bbq and invited everyone...with the neighbors that have a projection and large white sheet tied to the side of their house and watch movies. And that is what we did last night! One of our neighbors is moving next Monday so we had a going away bbq for them. They are the neatest family and everyone is sad we are losing our favorite dentist...*note to self...call and find dentist! Steak were provided for mostly everyone and families brought their favorite salads and desserts to share. We all just sat around in our camping chairs and talked and laughed until sundown. Then we migrated to the side of the house where 8 large white sheets were sewn together creating a screen for our viewing pleasure. We watched Nanny Mcfee and the kids loved it! I absolutely love our neighborhood!
*Sorry for the horrible pictures, but I had to post them anyways!
