Too far away!
All day I have been pondering something to blog (cause ya know I HAVE to!) Well, I got on and was reading my step-cousin's wife's blog and a lightbulb went off. Susan, I am going to blog about you! A little history (and I mean little) about us. Until last July, we had never met, never talked, never had any communication with eachother. Dating, engaged, married...she has been in my family for over 14 years. I would see the occasional picture of her at my grandma's house, but other than that, I wouldn't have been able to pick her out of crowd. Distance will do that to a family! She came to Utah with her two kiddos last year for a family reunion and 4th of July celebrations. We met at my grandma's house for the first time and we just hit it off. Honestly, I don't remember who brought it up, but the subject of scrapbooking came up and it was all uphill from there! I took her to Pebbles In My Pocket and enjoyed shopping together. We went to the Freedom Festival together (with some other family) and had a blast. *I did a layout of that event that will be published in the July Scrapbook Trends.* We shared pictures...which I don't think was fair on my part because she had a kick butt camera compaired to my rinky dink camera. Ever since we have been emailing eachother and still share pictures. She has been gracious enough to invite Ian and I to Washington DC and spend some time with them...which I still am working on! She is so great, genuine, gorgeous, and giving. I don't even know that much about her (which I am working on by the way, Susan...expect an email soon) but I do know that I love her!
