Quilt...check!

Ian and I have been struggling with deciding on quilt material for our baby. I like something, he doesn't...he will pick something out and I can't stand it. I ran an errand at our local material store for some apron fabric and Ian pointed out some really cute pink patterned material. I wasn't a fan at first, but then we started to pair it with some other fabrics and we came up with our perfect quilt. Mind you we still think it's a girl so if they are not, then someone is going to be recieving a darling blanket, but we are pretty sure. However with a little doubt, we aren't going to cut it for another month. I am excited to see how this will turn out! We are still hanging in there and doing fantastic! My aunts are throwing me a 20 week pre-baby shower party just for family members so I am looking forward to that. And then my two best girlfriends are throwing me "THE" shower and we are looking to having it at the reception hall where we got married...because I want to invite a million people. Some friends and family have been waiting longer than Ian and I have for this baby!

  1. We might have found the material and we might be sure that it is a girl but we still can't agree how the blanket will actually be. I want to sew stars into the pattern and Amy wants to sew stars on top of it. Go figure this is how Amy & I operate. We want the same thing but have completely different ways of getting there.
