My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Gender Friendly

Gender Friendly

I never thought those words would come out of my mouth when talking about my own child. Twice...twice the ultrasound and the same results! This time around the tech was able to get the measurements he needed, but the baby was still turned towards my back with legs crossed. Luckily the baby looks healthy and I go in on Tuesday to the doctor to get the final results. I guess I am having a mystery baby after all. I mean we will find out eventually if it's a boy or girl, but come on!!! Ian and I are so grateful they are healthy so we really don't have anything to complain about...right?

A bad scan, but here is a profile pic! Such a cutie!

So did you do the juice before...did you not google it to figure out how to wake the baby up? UGH!!! I am so dying to know. I think it's because the whole family is convinced it's a might just have to wait until delivery! Love ya girlie! Rub the buddha!

I was originally disappointed when our baby wanted to remain a mystery. But I am SO happy we didn't end up finding out until delivery. There are so many positive sides to not knowing. I saved tons of money because I didn't have so many of those impulse buys whenever I saw a cute outfit or gender specific item. Most of the stuff we have for Anna we can use with our next baby no matter if it's a boy or girl. People at our showers gave us stuff we really needed rather than just the cutest little girlie or boy outfit they could find. And, the best of all, that moment after nearly 27 hours of labor (3 1/2 of it pushing) when my husband happily cried "Anna Grace is here!"- I wouldn't trade a pink nursery for that moment EVER. Totally worth the months of curiosity and mystery. If you do get to find out, then that will be fun to plan and anticipate. I'm just letting you know that it's just as fun waiting to meet your little one.
