I think I can finally reveal the magazine that requested some baby layouts from me. It's Memory Makers! I haven't ever been published with them before so I am so excited. The layouts that I created for them are for the sales material used to promote the book so I can't wait to see it. The open call came out yesterday so I submitted more of Liam's baby book pages hoping some of them get picked up as well. You really can't beat getting paid to scrapbook your baby's album. It's totally motivating for me to keep trudging along!
Ian is slowing enticing me to use his computer more...the mean MAC is what I like to call it. I fell so stupid using it because it's just slightly different from what I am used to, but that sliver of difference sure does make me so frustrated! HOWEVER...he is teaching me how to use this new photo program that he got and I really like the outcome of the pictures. I haven't actually used it for myself yet, but helped him on some fantastic pictures he took of his little sister. The older I get the more I am so opposed to change, but the more I look at my life, the more I want to change it. If I can't do a little thing like learn how to use a computer, how do I expect Liam to want to learn new things and grow? This vicious cycle!
