My Name Is Snickerdoodle: So wonderfully busy!

So wonderfully busy!

Well I don't know how wonderful it is, but I am trying to enjoy this busy time. I realize that I am better when I get things done when they need to be done. I am such a creature of procrastination, but that is not who I truly want to be. I want to be the person who gets up early in the morning, reads my scriptures, exercises, showers, gets ready for the day and has the house clean before everyone is already up. That would be awfully hard for me since Ian gets up around 5:30 and then Liam at 7:00. It happens quite the reverse. Liam wakes me up with his little coos, change and feed him, play until he goes down for another nap, clean up the house, fit in laundry and ironing, Liam wakes up again, feed and change, then maybe I get a shower by 11:00 when he goes down for a second nap. Then I try to get things accomplished with the two businesses I am doing before Liam wakes up again. However I just pull my hair back and try to get more things done before Ian gets home in the late afternoon. I am just venting on how unorganized and not together I feel right now. Maybe tomorrow I will get it together...*wink wink*!!

*This entry is not a complaint...just a vent on my current reality!

  1. Somebody said that it couldn't be done, But he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn't," but he would be one Who wouldn't say so till he'd tried.

So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn't be done, and he did it.

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that; At least no one ever has done it"; But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he'd begun it.

With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin, Without any doubting or quiddit, He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn't be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done, There are thousands to prophesy failure; There are thousands to point out to you, one by one, The dangers that wait to assail you.

But just buckle in with a bit of a grin, Just take off your coat and go to it; Just start to sing as you tackle the thing That "cannot be done," and you'll do it.”

it's coming amy. i remember your frustration! and i love you.

i'm still unorganized, but i've come to the conclusion it's just the way i am.
