My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Have you forgotten about me yet?

Have you forgotten about me yet?

I know that I wish I could forget the last week of my life! Wow! What a roller coaster that was...and still is. Last night we had 75 mph winds again and chalk another panic attack up for me. Ian offered a wonderful, comforting prayer on my behalf and it helped a ton. There were tornadoes in another area, but were gone by the time the storm hit us. The torrential down pour and hail only lasted about 15 minutes. I am doing so much better this morning....and here is why.

*I am writing this from our very own computer! We got the internet this morning.
*90% of our stuff is unpacked and in it's own place. We still need to get our TV and cabinet from the other apartment. And then there comes the fun part of hanging up frames and decorations.
*I got to bake and made delicious ├ęclairs for a family party tonight.
*Did I mention that we got the internet???

I promise that I will post pictures this weekend because I know that y'all have been going through withdrawals!

  1. Are you so stoked to use your beautiful Mac (that you can see from outer space)?! I'm glad things are (finally) coming together for you guys! My husband laughed at me when I asked if we should pray for my sorta kinda friend that I know, but don't know!'re my friend...I mean hello we know each others life stories through our awesome bliggity blogs and it's like talking to a friend on the phone everyday! Just kidding! Oh and yeah for getting to bake!

  2. I know I don't "know you"...but wanted you to know when the bad weather hit our area, I woke up and just started praying for you and your family's safety. So glad to hear that ya'll are safe and sound.

  3. hopefully, you won't get any more of that weather. i seriously hate it for you! i hope other than that you have been enjoying your birthday week!!

kisses for the little i am having withdrawals from that... pics please or do i need to call your mama??

  4. Another storm. I guess this year will be bad for tornadoes so the weather channel said. I bet you were glad you good bake. You are a very good baker and cooker. You do make very good eclairs. Right Ian? I am sure Liam had a taste. How did the party go tonight? We miss Ian, Laim and you. Be sure and give big hugs and kisses all around.
