My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Better than junk mail

Better than junk mail

Last week the post man came to my door to deliver a package. We hadn't purchased anything so it was an unexpected visit. As soon as I saw the senders name I remember that it was supposed to be coming. My aunt Ellen sent me this wonderful little gem. It's a chocolate fondue pot in the shape of a Hershey's Kiss. Besides Cadbury (anything) my absolute favorite chocolate is a Kiss. I cannot resist kisses of any kind, but ones made of chocolate...YUM! She is known as the Hershey Queen and at any given time she can pull out any number of yummy goodness from her purse. Maybe it's a genetic thing, but I am super excited to use it soon. Thanks so much, Ellen, for this delicious gift!

And something I didn't get in the mail...Yesterday I was talking to my mom over webcam and she showed me some fabulous things she bought for Liam. She is always finding great deals and loves to celebrate any holiday. It's something that I love about her. All growing up she always had some decoration for practically every holiday. And she lovingly sent us a Happy Halloween card (Liam even got his very own!) So it didn't surprise me that she bought a pumpkin eye mask for Liam. HILARIOUS! I am trying to fly out next week to visit so it will be funny to see him try it on. Maybe along with hats, he is going to love masks as well. Liam is starting to remind me of Travis off of the movie, Hope Floats. You know...the one that is always in some sort of costume. Funny!

  2. that was nice of her!!

  3. You are loved. That fondue is really cute. Chocolate and more chocolate with the white magic of marshmellows. Life cant better than that.....

  4. yay! i can't wait to see you and Liam. we miss you guys so much.

  5. I heart me some Ellen! I would say that growing up she's always been like a second mom to me, but in all honesty, all of the Foutz girls were, just each in their own way.
