12 oz. Nestle's Semi-sweet chocolate chips
9.5 oz Hershey's chocolate bar
1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 1/2 sticks of butter
3 tsp. Vanilla extract
12 oz. evaporated milk
4 1/2 cups sugar
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl, with chocolate broken apart. Combine milk and sugar in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir constantly and boil for 7 minutes. Pour milk and sugar over chocolate and stir until melted and mixed well. Pour into 13x9 buttered pan. Let cool and enjoy!
I made the mistake and started off with a medium size pot. It quickly started to boil over so make sure you use a large pot!
