Yesterday we got a package in the mail from my mom for Easter. When she called she specifically said, "Do not open before then." Then she kind of giggled and mentioned that the bags were clear and we could see everything in them, but DO NOT OPEN. When I started to pull stuff out of the box (because there were birthday packages on the bottom that I need to "check out"), I noticed there was a hole in one of the bags. Some candy had just happened to fall out so I might have partaken in eating one of them. It might have even been this one...
Found in that same box was the cook book from my last neighborhood/church girls. Before I left, they had wanted to start collecting recipes to compile into a cook book so I have been waiting forever for it. There are some pretty dang good ones in there that I will just have to make. And I am glad I have a new book to read...yes, I read cook books like a novel. Don't judge me.
The other treat was found Sunday night. Let me preface that I have never dumpster dived in my life. Even the word dumpster gives me the eebie jeebies. However, on our way home from the Meyers on Sunday we drove past one of our complexes trash recepticals and noticed this little gem just sitting there next to the curb. It's in really good condition other than it needs to be santitized. Not a stain on it, just a little dust. We, are not, however, using it for it's intended purpose, but as a photo prop for future infant sessions. How cool is that!
Another fantastic thing we got in the mail is this which I am currently using while I type. I'll let you know how it turns out. Here's to a brighter smile!!!
