Adjustment

Jealousy is a weekness of mine. I absolutely hate that I feel that way, but sometimes find myself so caught up in it that I can't see a way out. Yesterday, I decided to make up my mind to have an attitude of gratitude. And you know what? It worked. Life is wonderful....family is wonderful...friends are wonderful! YEAH FOR TODAY!

A quick congrats to my cousin Taylor and his wife Nicole...they just had their fourth beautiful baby and I hear he is adorable!!!

  1. jealousy can be evil and consuming...i think we've all experienced it @ some time (me-envying those who had sickless pregnancies used to be a big one, but after having such a wonderful, easy, quick, drug-free labor and delivery with k (and the boys) i figured that made up for it.) there's always something good about me to counteract the bad, kwim? love ya girlie!

  2. I think we all feel the same from time to time...we wouldn't be human if we didn't. Whatever you are longing for, it will come in time. To bad that we don't know when that time is, if we knew there would be no reasoning behind jealousy. Amy, you are an amazing inspiration to all who know you, don't forget that.

  3. If it makes you feel better, you have a gorgeous smile and really pretty hair (that always looks perfect) of which I am INSANELY JEALOUS!

  8. Musings on jealousy: I am never jealous of things... it is always talents or personality traits I am lacking. And that is really hard because it eats at my self-esteem. (Jealousy is EVIL!) The funny thing is, my natural unconscious tendency when I am jealous of someone is to go overboard on being their friend. (There is something to that saying about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.) And once you truly get to know someone, you can't help but love them. And when you love someone, you don't feel jealous, just really happy for them. So it all works out in the end. The bonus: I have a lot of talented and really awesome friends. :)
