My Name Is Snickerdoodle: These are a few of my favorite things

These are a few of my favorite things

Summer things that is....

Having a sno cone once sometimes twice a week since the summer has started. I started a girls night out recently were we meet up at a close by shack at 9pm (when kids are in bed). We decided to go on sno cone "tour" so I will let you know how that goes.

Don't laugh, but I have taken up yoga. A girlfriend of mine convinced me to take it with her and I grudgingly said I would. I thought I would hate it, but absolutely look forward to each class. Enough so, that I signed up for round two this summer. Since starting I have lost some significant weight. It might be from yoga, but I think it's due to the fact that I am actually doing something. Maybe all my warrior and triangle poses will counter balance those tiger's blood!

I took a leap and signed up for a free 2 week photoshop course here. It focuses on frame ups and special effects. Ian has actually taught me some of this that he figured out on his own, but sometimes I learn better when he is not involved. That sounds bad, but hopefully a few of you know what I mean. Here is what I did today!

  1. I love it! Photoshop is so much fun. I wish I had more time to sit and play with it. Free class though, can't beat that!(:

  2. I have heard that Bedford SnoBall (or something to that effect) is really good. You should try that one. If you want the BEST sno-cone, go to The Sno Hut in Arlington!

  3. beautiful picture...i can see that on a canvas! good for you with the yoga...i'm soo unmotivated.

i signed up for the class, too and have yet to log in...maybe tomorrow! summer's in full swing here!

  4. I love yoga! I need to quit doing it on the Wii and start taking a class. I'm a master at the warrior pose!

  5. beautiful picture! YOU are one of my favorite things.

  6. First of all, I love Jessica Sprague. I wish I was Jessic Sprague. And second of all, we have to go to Bedford Snoball and order my six favorite flavors together. We will count it as Visiting Teaching of course.
