You are doing a super job with Liam trying to potty training. He is getting it. Keep up the good work.
no fair .... even your blogless entries are super cute. :) hang in there - i'm sure you both are doing fantastic!
i learned one thing when i was potty training Blake. It had to be his idea....not mine. So i quit for a couple of weeks and let him decide. I also told him that he couldn't do gymnastics unless he was potty trained. I think that really made his decision!!! :)
Maybe this will help? It sure gave me some insight! http://networkedblogs.com/p25790379
Hang in there!I trieds potty training my son right before he was 3. He would go sometimes, and other times he would go on the floor! AAAARRRRGGGHHH!I tried the 3 day potty training system that my sister and SIL swear by, by it didn't work for me.Anyway, long story short.....I put him in pull ups and encouraged him to go. If he used the potty I made a BIG deal about it. If he didn't use the potty i would change him, and did my best to not let it bother me. Fast forward 4 months....he woke up one morning and didn't want to wear a pull up - he wanted his big boy underwear. Since then he has only had 1 accident!point of my long-winded story....He'll get it when he is ready. In the mean time hang in there :)
Good luck! Eventually it will happen, but it's frusterating! In the mean time, I saw this funny video on Youtube and thought you should see it. It made me laugh out loud. The guy hit the nail on the head. Just search Twilight What Have You Done To My Wife? It's a music video and it's funny! Love ya!
We've taken advantage of being mostly snowed in to do the same thing up here. We're feeling your pain.
my only advice about potty training...is keep it casual. don't stress it. otherwise he'll fight ya, like k did for control and not do it until she was ready. but we also told her that she couldn't wear swimmers in the pool anymore because she was too big. that's all it took. g was a piece of cake doing it within 2 days. i think a is going to be another story.
