My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Too good to pass up!

Too good to pass up!

I usually try not to crowd out my FFF with other posts on Friday, but today is an exception for a very important! One of my dearest bestest friends has created a fabulous company. Along with some of her other business she has started up a scanning business and has actually traveled all over the US scanning people's memories. When she came into town a couple of months ago (on their way to moving to Utah) she and her family stopped by to visit. While she was here she brought her super speedy scanner and scanned all of the pictures we had stored in 3 very large boxes. It took her a mere 2 hours (would have taken faster if we weren't gabbing the whole time) where it would take me days on our little flatbed scanner. If you live in Utah, she is having a sale...
Are you thinking about the boxes of pictures that are under your bed or in the basement covered in dust. Or maybe you are super organized and have them all in beautiful photo albums. Either way, with everything being digital now, it's so much nicer to have those images on your computer. I know that I love it for my blog and facebook. I think the best part about the whole deal is that she comes to your house to scan. No shipping your pictures off or leaving them somewhere for days or weeks on end.
Let me share some of my scanned gems and see if it inspires you to get this done...
Cutie little Ian...maybe the same age as Liam.
My 15 minutes of picture even made it into the local newspaper. I danced to Uptown Girl!
You will even want evidence of those "awkward moments"!
Casual cousin moments.
And cousin formal moments. (Check out that lioness hairdo!)
Maybe you don't want evidence of completely hideous wardrobe choices.
All those birthdays at McDonald's (I think I had two there). This was the birthday that my grandma Cora gave me my favorite pink heart shaped purse with a rainbow colored strap.
Proof that your parents were young once...
very young.
Evidence that you traveled the world once.
A captured moment of the best time of your growing up process.
Mirrored senior portraits.
Handsome missionary shots
And even a captured memory of what you looked like on the night you met your future spouse!

Give Julie a call...TODAY! The sale ends on the 30th of this month and I would totally take advantage of it. I think it would even make the perfect gift for someone who loves their photos. If you don't live in Utah, all Julie needs is a handful of your friends who want to do the same thing to make it worth the trip out to scan your photos. She has more details about that. Check out her site and make your move...she is going to fill up fast!

  1. Can I just order copies of all of YOUR pictures? Those were awesome! You are so pretty.

  2. doubt that Kennedy belongs to Hal. Put a bad haircut on her and she could have been in that picture with Ian and I instead of Hal. She even gets that same blank stare. Crazy to think that we are all parents, where does the time go?

  3. Amy you are truly the BEST! I miss you so so much. I need to come scan in Texas so I can see you! xoxoxo

  4. That's very cool - I love looking through old pictures... Wish I saw this sooner - I just finished scanning a lot of pics for Ali Edwards' class Yesterday and Today - otherwise I would be all over it! TFS!

  5. Raise your hand if you weren't sporting a mullet in the cousin pic!!!!!!!!! I remember that hanging at Grandma's house. Classic.
