My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Cinderellie, Cinderellie

Cinderellie, Cinderellie

Last Friday Ian got us tickets to the ballet. He has been helping me fill up my days and nights with activities so that these next few moments go by quickly until the baby comes. {I am driving myself mad with impatience!} We went with some good friends and completely enjoyed the ballet version of Cinderella. We even saw a good friend from Burleson there that I haven't seen in years.

And since it's the ballet, I felt the need to dress up fancy (as fancy as a preggo can get when nothing she currently owns fits) so of course I painfully wore my cute, grey, ruffled, ankle strap heels. By the second act, I whispered to Ian that he needed to unbuckle my left shoe so that I wouldn't feel the need to scream out loud anymore! Even after he unbuckled it, I still couldn't get it off because my foot was so swollen. I just laughed at myself because I felt like I looked like Miss Piggy from the knees down. You know...with her pudgy feet puddling out of her purple satin heels?

The performance was beautiful and we topped off the night with ice cream sundaes and shakes. We didn't get home until almost midnight, but it was worth a great date night out!

{Pregnancy Update}
The baby has been dropping ever since Saturday night. I had another baby shower that afternoon (pictures to come as soon as I get them) and then I went power shopping to try to get everything I still needed. I was exhausted and still really haven't recouped. Here's to crossing my fingers for some contractions or something!!!
