My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Relief

It's hard to believe that my baby is 8 days old!
Even harder to believe that my oldest (WOW! I have an oldest now!) is 1,364 days old!

Today I had high hopes of blogging our littlest one's way into the world story with pictures, but I am limited on how much I can sit at the computer. You see, I only lost one pound from giving birth. Why, do you ask? I am extremely swollen and retaining a million gallons of water. Who would have thought that happened after pregnancy? I guess it's pretty common.
It will take 2-3 weeks for it to all go away. Not so fun!
However, here is one picture I couldn't resist blogging today.
It was taken the night I got home from the hospital.
He thought this "flotation device" was for him.
He was a little hacked off when I kept taking it from him and sitting on it.

Just keeping it real people!

  1. You're teasing us by not posting a pic of the baby! lol!

  2. You are killing me! Seriously, I don't care how swollen you are...I just want to see the baby! I am totally Just kidding. I hope You get back to your normal self quickly! We love you!

  3. I remember telling my doctor, "These aren't my legs! You cut my baby out, then swapped my legs with a fat chick's!" He laughed really hard :) Hope you're doing well!
