My Name Is Snickerdoodle: Tag!

3.07.2012

Tag!

Remember tags? There were all the blog rage a few years ago and they are making a comeback. I've always loved them and I love that my peach of a friend, Mandy, tagged me recently!

There are the five rules:
1. Post these rules.
2. Post a photo of yourself and list 11 random things.
3. Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/twitter and tell them that you’ve tagged them.

{Since it's rare that I am hair and make up ready these days,
I thought I would share with you my point of view of me lately.
Completely looking forward to meeting this new little one!
}

My Random Goodness (somewhat different from this recent post!)
  • My toast has to be buttered to the very edge on all sides.
  • I love the smell of baby feet.
  • Between the ages of 14 and 15, I tweezed my leg hairs instead of shaving.
  • I almost always want to fall asleep in the car if someone else is driving. It could be a twenty minute drive and I just want to put my head back and close my eyes. I'm like a baby that way!
  • My favorite chore to do is vacuuming. Instant gratification.
  • I am really into playing Where's My Water? on my phone. Anyone else?
  • I absolutely do not like going to any dr. appointments. Even when I am going to get a fun ultrasound of my babies, I still don't like going.
  • My favorite coin is the dime.
  • I always wash my hands right when I get home from anywhere.
  • I absolutely love getting kisses from my boys.
  • I like to write with pencils more than pens. But who really writes these days?! The only thing I find myself writing is my grocery list.

1. What is your favorite childhood toy?
It would have to be my Care Bear toys that I had. I didn't have very many, but I loved them so much. A few years ago they had a brand new set of some adorable Care Bear toys and I still regret that I didn't buy them. Yes, I have boys, but I can have some fun girl toys too!

2. How do you eat your Oreo cookies?
I bite half the cookie then take a swig of milk. It's my lazy version of dunking it.

3. Describe a moment where you felt your happiest.
It was a long 6ish years that I could not get pregnant. On a whim I took a pregnancy test on Father's Day and found out I was pregnant. I will never forget the rush that I felt in my lungs and how my heart totally jumped when I saw that it was positive for the first time in my life!

4. What is something you plan to try this year?
We are trying to buy a house soon so hopefully we will be able to accomplish that!

5. Favorite word? Least favorite word?
Favorite word...raspberry. Go on...say it out loud and it might become your favorite word too!
Least fav...p e r v e r t. YUCK!

6. What is a saying that best represents you?
I'm going to use a line from a movie for this one...
"But, I'm weird."

"No, you're quirky. Quirky and weird are two different things."

7. What is your perfect weekend?
Sleeping in.
A hot breakfast waiting for me when I wake up.
Back to bed for snuggles with my whole family.
Having someone do my hair and make up for the day.
Playing outdoors with my family...maybe a picnic.
Shopping and finding everything I like on sale.
Dinner at a family favorite restaurant.
A nice massage before I head back to bed again.
{I didn't say that any of this is reality!!!}

8. You just won a free vacation to anywhere in the world – where are you going?
England. I fell in love when I went there eons ago! Or maybe somewhere tropical like Bali! Ooohhhh, I can't decided!!!

9. You have to be a teacher for at least a year. What subject will you teach?
How to blow a bubble gum triple bubble.

10. What is something you are proud of?
I am proud that I went out on a limb, out of my comfort zone (whatever you want to call it) and entered the RWOP contest last year. Regardless if I won or not, I still did something that I didn't think I would ever do (make a recipe video) and it felt great to overcome something a little scary. You can read about my adventure here, here, and here!

11. What item can you not live without?
Um, my tweezers. I'm addicted. Or maybe my cookie scoop...two very handy-dandy-must-have tools!
