My Name Is Snickerdoodle: How To Create An Amazing Facebook Page - My Experiement #1

How To Create An Amazing Facebook Page - My Experiement #1

Have you ever done anything that you regret?  If you are human, the answer is most likely YES!  I know that we shouldn't really believe in or have regrets because learning from the past is a good thing, right?
But I have regrets when it comes to this small corner of the web I call my own.  It's more like I wish I had a time machine I could travel back in time and tell my past self what I needed to start doing and focusing on.  Social media is a big part of those regrets.  It's definitely a learning lesson that I just wish I would have learned a lot earlier on.

Facebook is one of those social media outlets that most everyone has a love/hate relationship with.  I remember the days that I would spend hours on it combing through my friends pages and pictures.  Enjoying reading what was happening in people's lives that I wasn't able to live by.
Then things changed and FB went through what I like to call the awkward years.  You know what I mean.  Ads were introduced, people started sharing weird articles and and it became more like those emails that are forwarded a million times over.
Today, it's still different than it was years ago, but I like it now.  I enjoy seeing what people find interesting with what they've shared.  And it's another great way to get others to see my content I share here!
Since I was a FB hater back in the day, I didn't put any focus on my business page and it's suffered because of it.  I've done some research on how to make it better and get more likes, but I was happy to discover this Create An Amazing Facebook Page ebook from Mique over at Thirty Handmade Days.  It has everything you need to know about creating an amazing FB page and I've already put it to work.

This book is perfect if you are just starting out or if you are just simply trying to grow your likes.  I've been doing the suggested tips for a few short weeks now and I've gained 37 new likes.  I'm not worried about the exact numbers, but in getting more exposure to my content!
I wanted to share my experience here for two reasons.  To show that progress can be made with someone with pretty small numbers and to make myself accountable to keep it up!  It just takes a little time.
Every month I'll check in to show you where I'm at and what I've learned in hopes to inspire those who need a little boost like I did!  Click on the image below for a direct link to this great tool!
