The blog entry that will change your blog life!

So a while back, Ian had discovered something genius. Well, genius on blogger’s part, but genius on Ian’s part because he found it and shared it with me. I didn’t even think it was cool at the time, but now I love it! Blogger allows for you to schedule when your entries are posted. Last Monday I blogged for the whole week. And it was a good thing because I was so sick (and still trying to recover). This is perfect if you are going to be out of town or have a ton of things you want to blog about, but want to avoid the 5 posts in one day. This way, your readers can come back and find that you have updated more often. Genius!
So type up your entry and before you publish the post, click on the “post options”. Then you can choose the date and time you want that entry to be posted. Then click “publish post”. Again, genius!

I don’t do this all the time, only when I have a few different things that I want to blog about and want to break them up. Then for you avid readers that check this every day, you aren’t frustrated when I don’t update often. *Hint*Hint* to those blogs that I check every day!!! Who shall remain nameless…

Yeah I figured that out when I first started blogger because I used to use ‘typepad’ but wanted to change everything over with the same dates. The problem is, I tried doing something in the future and it still just posted right then. Weird.

Yeah, I love that feature! I found it a few months ago and have definitely taken advantage. 🙂 Oh, and I wanted to say that your Twilight party looked like a blast! Loralee told me the date and time, but it was when my parents were here visiting. It looked like a definite success…wish I could have made it. :]

Ok, I’m sorry that I’m not a very good blogger all of the time. But, I TRY. Haha. This is a good hint. And, I also learned that you can turn the comments off. That will be good when the election gets closer and I get on my ‘liberal soapbox’!!
