Colorado or Bust!

I have everything packed for our 8 hour trip to Colorado. Ian’s older brother moved there with his family this summer so we are spending Thanksgiving with them. I am so excited to go, but not so excited for the drive. We are bringing Ian’s little brother with us so this should be interesting…him in the back seat with all our stuff…in our Jeep Wrangler.
Saturday we celebrated an early Thanksgiving with the gang (I’ll post a picture later) fondue style! SO YUMMY! We discovered that Chick-fil-A nuggets are scrumptious in the Swiss cheese fondue so this is the second year we had it. We always eat too much, but you just can’t stop! Ian and I didn’t get home until 1:00am so I was so pooped yesterday. I don’t think I will stay out that late again…atleast while I am pregnant.
Today I went to my 5th doctor’s appointment and I am still on track and looking good. In a week and a half I go in for my sugar test, which I have mixed feelings about. Some people say it’s awful and others say it’s not a problem. I am going with “it’s easy” for now!

If you don’t mind orange soda, the glucose test will be fine. All you do is drink an 8oz orange drink in 5 min. and wait an hour and then get a blood draw. Simple and boring.
