Do you think that deviled eggs

are only for Easter time or year round?

All the measurements for these Classic Deviled eggs can be found in the l i n k in my b i o.

But here’s to tips before you grab the recipe.

1. For every 6 eggs you cook, add 1. This way you can incorporate that entire extra egg into your mixture to help bulk up the filling.
No one wants skimpy eggs.

2. ALWAYS add a splash of pickle juice. Just trust me on this!

Bonus tip!

*Use a small cookie scoop to fill your eggs. It’s so much faster than using a piping or plastic bag.

The amount of people who thought that was

butter when I shared this on my IG stories is astounding!

We’re all for salty sweet treats around here, but that’s a whole other level.

I kept seeing this unusual pairing everywhere that I had to give it a try. This is actually my oldest making this one.

Go with me on this…..fruit roll up WITH sherbet or ice cream in the middle.

Once you wrap it up, the fruit roll up instantly freezes and cracks when you bite into it.

Purely satisfying.

*And it’s pineapple sherbet, not butter btw!

Did you ever see the movie with

Julia Roberts called Runaway Bride?

It’s one of my favorites. Throughout the movie she just eats whatever eggs her fiancé eats and conforms to whatever he wants and likes.
She gets called out by Richard Gere that she really doesn’t know what she wants. I won’t ruin the whole thing for you, but in the end she discovers she really doesn’t like eggs at all!

For those of us who do like eggs let’s talk about how to boil eggs perfectly AND make them easy to peel.

This method works every single time.

New eggs.
Older eggs.
Cold eggs.
Room temp, fresh eggs.

The trick is to place them in the water right before it’s a rolling boil. This shocks the egg and makes that membrane pull away from the outer shell.

Poking a tiny hole in the bottom, more round part of the egg, also helps that process along.

8 minutes if you want a more jammy yolk and 10 minutes for a perfectly set center.

So, now I need to know!!

Are you one of those who

don’t get people’s obsession with ice cream?

I used to think that way 23 years ago. It wasn’t until I was engaged and flew from Utah to Texas to meet my future in-laws.

One night my fiancé’s (now husband) mom brought out gallons of @bluebellicecream so everyone could make their own sundaes.

It only took one bite for me to be a true ice cream lover, thanks to Blue Bell!!

I can eat fancy ice cream from a fancy parlor, try other ice creams from different states, but nothing truly compares to it.

I am sure you are thinking

Please tell me that I’m not the only one who

has really old baking sheets!

Sometimes I see creators on here with sparkling shiny pans and I cannot relate!

My pans are well seasoned and well loved.

These biscuits are a family favorite.

So much so that I have a print out of my own recipe that I keep in a drawer in my kitchen.

Fruit Pizza Cookies are one of the easiest to make, but have such an impact that no one can resist.

Shhh! I’ve got a secret when it comes to my version of this cookie.

I actually use my Snickerdoodle recipe sans rolling it in cinnamon and sugar.

Yes, it is supposed to

look like that.

It’s not undercooked.

It’s Hot Fudge Pudding cake a la Holly (my mom).

The recipe is wacky, but it ends up with this decadent chocolate sauce on the bottom.

We like to serve it over ice cream to cut the sweetness.
*Name the movie!

Save this because you know you want to try it!
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
FOR SAUCE
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/4 cups, hot water

Whisk together sugar, cocoa, flour, baking powder together with melted butter until smooth.
Mix in milk and vanilla.
Pour into a 9 inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Whisk together the remaining sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder for the sauce.
Sprinkle that evenly over the better.
Gently pour over hot water and do not stir.
Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
Center will be almost set.
Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Serves 4-6.

To be honest, I used to hate it!

Over the years I’ve just altered my view and use the holiday just to spread love to those in my life that mean something to me.

These Heart Shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies are so fun to make and use my all time favorite dough recipe.
