Female Greatness

I just got back from a fabulous lunch with fabulous ladies. We ate at this wonderful restaurant which the majority of us had never been before. So completely delicious, especially the 7 (okay, really 3) homemade black cherry sodas that I guzzled down. The company was still the best part of the afternoon!
It got me thinking of all the wonderful women in my life…currently and in the past. There have been some phenomenal women that have influenced and shaped me into who I am today. My mom, so many family members (especially great aunts), church leaders, and friends.
I have also, in the past, made some poor choices with whom I hung out with and really didn’t like who I was when I was around with them. Some of the hardest decisions I have had to make was to not be someone’s friend after we were so-called “friends”. Oh, but how life got so much better!
So my advice to you today…only and always surround yourself with fabulous people!

I am glad you turned out to be the person you are. I think of the talk we had about the "Jacket" so many years ago, and I'm glad you passed the test and made the right decision.
