Just when you think…

things are going perfect there is always a road bump waiting in the wings. Good thing it’s just a little one this time! We went in today to find out the gender of our little cupcake. The excitement was just increasing as we drove to the appointment and the both of us just couldn’t stand ourselves! Almost as soon as the wand met my belly and the little image popped up, the tech says…oh this is going to be tough. She (because we still think it’s a girl) was totally faced towards my spine…all curled up in a little ball with her legs crossed. He tried pushing and shoving my belly to try to get them to move, but no luck. For a week straight, she has been moving non-stop to the point I’ve thought she was coming out to say hello! Yet, today she was all snuggly and warm and asleep. Ian called it last night that this would happen. I told him it made sense she is a stubborn Williams, but I secretly didn’t believe it. All said and done, we have an 8 minute video of her head and spine, heard her healthy heart and found out from the little measurements he could take our due date is now 3 days earlier…Feb. 17th. All I cared about was that they were healthy and alive so that wish came true. TWO MORE WEEKS to find out the gender…and still crossing my fingers it’s a girl!
