Let me…

brag a bit about my wonderful husband. I am not a morning person. I really don’t enjoy getting up unless I am going somewhere super exciting that day. Like Disneyland, Hawaii or the scrapbook store! Having a baby did change what time I woke up, but my groggy, sometimes grouchy attitude didn’t alter. Liam has been a great sleeper for the most part since he was 4 weeks old. Up until a month ago he slept in till 8:00 sometimes 9:00. Perfect for me. Not anymore. He is up, chipper and ready to go anywhere from 6:00-6:30am now. He sure takes after his daddy because Ian is up by no later than 6:00 most mornings. He has a certain routine that he has followed every since we have married. In the past WHEN I have gotten up before he left for work, I am usually in the way and throw him off to where he forgets something like his wallet or cell phone. He has never complained, but I know that the mornings are his time. Ever since Liam became an early riser, Ian has gotten Liam up, changed and fed and back in bed before I wake up. This means so much to me and I really appreciate this tremendous help! Thanks Ian for the love! You mean the world to me!

That is soooo sweet! My DH would NEVER do that! And I’m NOT a morning person either and unfortunately our youngest is and has been since he was a baby. He has times where he’ll get up at 5ish in the morning and be bright eyed and bushy tailed. I have NO idea where he gets it from either…LOL! Uggghhhh! 😀
