Little Man Party

I love my family and friends! And my family definitely feels love from them! The birthday boy had a great time and was a completely peach the entire time. He was even short on a nap which is a big deal in our house.
Most everyone came to Owen’s party and (I think) had a great time. I know I did!
Here’s a million pictures to prove it!

I had a miniature buffet for everyone to snack on and (of course) made way too much!

The only thing that wasn’t small were the water bottles.

Mini homemade cookies.

Mini shooters complete with mini M&M’s and mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Mini juice boxes.

Pigs in a blanket.
I even had mini bags of chips, mini cheeseballs, mini club crackers (for the cheeseballs),
baby carrots and grape tomatoes.

One mini birthday cake and a ton of mini cupcakes.

I had chocolate mustaches for everyone to take a picture with…

It was pretty low key (I mean, it’s a one year old birthday party after all!) so we just let the kids play at the park while the adults snacked and mingled.

Who knows why his shoes are off!

The swings are always a big hit…Isn’t she just the cutest!

My mom even came in for the special occasion and got to stay with us for a few days. Both boys had a blast with her here (and she and I even got a few rounds of Yatzee in!)

Time for cake!

He wasn’t so sure what was going on while everyone was singing to him. I would have done the whole blowing out a candle, but it was so completely windy that it would have been impossible.

He totally cried when everyone stopped crying. It was actually a little funny! This picture totally looks like I am making him cry by making him eat his cake! Hahahaha!

He completely changed his mind once he figured out what was up! He practically ate the whole thing and even picked up the plate and started to lick it! That is so my child!

I was really excited about the fun favors that I got personalized to go with the party colors.

Each kid got a mini candy machine complete with green and blue Jelly Bellys.

And each adult got a tube of mini M&Ms. I just couldn’t resist!

I still can’t believe that my baby is one! It’s also crazy to think that this time next year our third child will be 5 months old! I am so thrilled that our family is growing and that we have such fabulous family and friends that are so supportive and surround us with love.

As for this little boy…(He really did not like the mustache, but I love this picture!)
I don’t know what I would do without him! He is such a hoot and seriously so smart! He’s walking around everywhere and loves his brother and daddy so much! He is my little Owen and I love spending every day with him!
