-Did absolutely nothing which is how every long holiday weekend should start.
-Did more of absolutely nothing in the morning…well, we cleaned and cleaned and cleaned, but that doesn’t constitute as anything fun.
-Ian had family in town because of the BYU/OU game so since we weren’t attending it and grandma was watching some of her grandkids…we decided to bless her with watching ALL of her grandkids. Lucky her! Ian and I invited his sister and her husband to go to Dave & Buster’s with us. Back up a bit…Ian won a bingo game at work and got a $100 gc for his efforts. We thought it would be more fun to go with other people…we were right. After a delicious dinner and a free appetizer (there were a little slow to acknowledge us sitting there at our table) we headed over to the games. It took us 2 1/2 HOURS to use up the whole $100, but we weren’t complaining. At the very end of our credits, I won a whopping 500 tickets on one game. I was pretty pleased. We ended up with a combined 4,598 tickets!!! However, all that got us was three (surprisingly cute) teddy bears and junk candy toys for our kids.
-Ended the night with some good ol’ Sonic Drinks.
-Had a very hectic Sunday morning…still trying to block it from my memory.
-Was spiritually uplifted at church.
-Went over to Ian’s mom’s house again to have family dinner since most of the family was still in town. I made this fabulous bean dip. We got there late so everyone had it for dessert.
-Family was still in town we we headed over to Railhead…which was sadly closed because of the holiday. So we opted to go to Pappasitos. I sure didn’t mind that one bit. With a party of 17 and half of them being kids…it actually went pretty well with only one misshap. Liam fell backwards in his chair. I really hate it when my little guy gets hurt. No goose eggs or bruises, though.
-Did more of nothing because that is how a holiday weekend should end…with you recouping from all the activities!
