Quick update…

The funeral yesterday was so beautiful. She was Samoan so a lot of it was in that language, so even though I couldn’t understand most of it, you could still feel the spirit. A Samoan choir sang and it sounded like angels. A little unknown fact about me is that I love the Polynesian culture. I think it comes from a memory that I had when I was 6 years old. Some of you may remember the BYU Lamanite Generation that used to travel around the states doing shows. They came to our church and I was so enthralled through the whole thing. My mom bought me the record (too funny) they were selling of the songs they sung and I think I wore it out. Ever since then I have just been drawn to that culture. So it doesn’t surprise me that one of my best friends is a Poly!

We got Liam into the doctor that I love and found out that he just caught another cold. SO BLESSES that it is not RSV again. He does have an ear infection that is leftovers from three weeks ago and is infecting his eyes and throat. He is so miserable, but totally flirted with the nurse when she came in to check his oxygen. It cracks me up that he is such a ladies man. We have him on some medicine so I am hoping and praying that he will get well soon. Can I just say that I love my Heavenly Father? Ever since I had Liam I now have what I call my “mom prayers”. I think I pull more out of my faith reservoir when I am praying for Liam and miracles happen.

Thanks for all your well wishes and I will get a clip of him dancing when he feels better!

I am so glad to hear that Liam is on the mend. Colton now has the eye infection that Bria had last week. What is it with those things? Yea that it’s not RSV again! That is the worst!!!
Again, I’m sorry about losing someone close to you! I’m glad that even though you couldn’t “understand” the funeral service, that you felt the spirit! The Poly choir is amazing! You really can feel the spirit and feeling of the song through their voices!
So, If you like hangin out with people from that culture…we should go on a double date sometime! Ok, we should do it anyways…and not just because of Damon:0)
And…I’m thinking that 4 kids (right now anyways)…(knock on wood) wouldn’t really “round things out”! You crazy girl! It might make me go a little insane! Maybe next year? I’m sure you’ll beat me to it!

Glad to hear the RSV didn’t return. That picture of him taking the treatment is so sad. Just broke my heart. I hope he continues to feel better!

Yea- I love the Polynesian culture too- hence my husband, who is not actually Polynesian, but looks Hawaiian. He’s just a “big Filipino” as a New Zealand dancer at the Folk Fest once put it. Anyway, sorry Liam is still sick. My kids are all sick today too. I loved your comment about pulling more faith out when they prayers are for your children. I’ve never thought about it that way, but it’s totally true!
