Random Tid Bits

**Edited…Thanks Rina for pointing that out!!! How embarassing! So there is only 50 folks!

I saw this on a couple different blogs and my first thought (just like those other bloggers) was I don’t think I could come up with 100 different things about me. And I couldn’t…so I only came up with 51! Maybe part two with 49 more things about will be coming soon…but don’t count on it!
Here we go…(in no particular order!)

{1} I love polka dots! (But they have to be evenly lined up.)
{2} I met Ian on a blind date and it’s been mostly wonderful ever since! (I say mostly because let’s be realistic here…relationships are hard work.)
{3} I could literally kiss Liam’s cheeks all day long. They are so soft and squishy. Now if he would only sit still long enough for me to do that!
{4} When eating…let’s say, M&M’s or Skittles, I have to have one of each color left to eat last.
{5} I really miss writing letters to my friends…when actual mail was the thing to do. Email just isn’t the same.
{6} My claim to fame happened in 1982. I was crowned Miss Junior Queen of Wyoming for a dance competition. I was also 4 going on 5 when that happened so my 15 minutes have been up for a while.
{7} I think it’s a sin to put sugar on cereal UNLESS it’s cornflakes. Even as a kid my favorite was rice crispies and rice chex. Boring, I know.
{8} When writing my grocery lists, I have to write them in the order of the isles in the store. It really bugs me when I have to back track because I forgot something.
{9} I am really and truly addicted to reading blogs. I need counseling!!! Sometimes I curse the day when the internet was born, but then I find a new fun blog and rejoice!
{10} I love, love, LOVE the Twilight series…no brainer there!
{11} I was almost kidnapped when I was 8. I still cannot walk by windowless white worker vans. CREEPY!
{12} My ultimate favorite day to remember is the day I got married to Ian. I still get lovely butterflies when I think about it.
{13} My second favorite day to remember is Liam’s birth…what a surprise that was! I makes me smile every time I remember Ian saying,”It’s a boy!” **For the few of you who might be new to my blog, we were told we were having a girl. For those of you who already have heard that a million times already, sorry, it’s my favorite part!
{14} I love movies about surfing…I think it’s because I would love to learn how to surf one day.
{15} I used to have my “on the side” freelance cake making business a couple of years ago. I do miss creating the cakes, but I don’t miss the stress…at all.
{16} I am an only child.
{17} My brain finally wakes up by the time I go to bed. It takes me forever to fall asleep because I am thinking about my eternal to do list. I really should keep some paper and a pen by my bed.
{18} Speaking of dreaming…I dream about random celebrities a lot. I am still not sure why, but my most memorable one is having Marylin Manson over for a Thanksgiving dinner. After meeting my family he wanted to join my church…WEIRD!
{19} I love pink Country Time Lemonade. Not in the can, but the powder stuff you have to make yourself.
{20} The furthest I have been in the world is England. I spent a month there with my best friend, Rachel. We totally did not take advantage of the situation and slept in a lot.
{21} The only freckle/mole that I like on me is the one on top of my right foot. The others I could totally live without.
{22} I can listen to a song once and know most of the words the next time I hear it. Ian tells me it’s one of the most endearing qualities he loves about me.
{23} I think one of the best smells in the world is Dreft baby laundry soap.
{24} My favorite scrapbooking supply is pattern paper. I am a sucker especially for the polka dot kind…refer to #1.
{25} Growing up I loved getting together with my cousins. No matter what we did, we always had a wonderful time. It’s weird (but just as fun) that some of us have kids of our own now.
{26} I am still afraid that people won’t like me. Even if we have been friends for years, there is still that fear. Hopefully one day I will get over that.
{27} I could eat a Thanksgiving meal every day. NOT the portion that I do on Thanksgiving day, but just the delicious food choices.
{28} I miss good Saturday morning cartoons. Like Smurfs, Snorkles, Jem, Captain Caveman, Shirt-Tales, Wuzzles, Gummie Bears, The Racoons, and Punky Brewster.

{29} The very first record I owned was Whitney Houston’s debut album and the first tape I ever owned was The Jets debut album. I wore it out!
{30} I have never scrubbed a tub since I have been married. Ian (weirdly enough) actually likes to do it. I don’t question it.
{31} I have a large crescent shape scar on my right knee. When I was 7 I fell in a neighbors basement and cut it on an old toy grocery cart. Remember…the really hard plastic ones with the yellow basket/red handle and wheels?
{32} I detest haunted houses of any kind. I can barely walk down the costume isle at Halloween time. Eebies jeebies!
{33} I once won a coloring contest at our local Sprouts Ritz store when I was young. I won $15.00 and bought myself a Rainbow Brite doll.
{34} I’ve always wanted to speak French. I took two years of it in high school. What I got out of it…I can repeat the alphabet.
{35} I loathe the smell of vanilla candles, soap or lotion.
{36} I always wanted an older brother.
{37} I’ve climbed to the top of Mount Charleston in Nevada. And since that state is mostly desert, the mountain wasn’t very high!
{38} One of my dreams is to get flying lessons from John Travolta.
{39} I love looking at the stars. I think the best way to look at them is through a large mirror that is laying on the ground.
{40} I am a nerd and like to listen to the commentaries of my favorite movies. EVEN all three Lord of the Rings.
{41} I love to cook and bake, but most of you knew that already.
{42} I don’t like being hot…AT ALL! Go figure that I live in Texas now.
{43} This isn’t meant to be morbid, but I would love for all the women to wear pink to my funeral. I kinda picture a more classy version of the wedding scene in Steel Magnolias.
{44} I love the cosmetic counters in a department store. The only reason I don’t linger around them is I hate being pressured by snobby sales people and it’s always too expensive.
{45} One of my favorite spots in the whole world is Cascade Springs up the Alpine Loop in Utah. It’s wear Ian proposed to me.
{46} This one was deleted due to a duplicate for one above.
{47} The Food Network is my favorite channel. I could watch it all day!
{48} I wish I could sing and read notes.
{49} I get motion sickness at amusments parks. Bleck!
{50}I love sleeping in fluffy beds. Especially ones that are freshly laundered and made.
{51} Pink Starbursts are my favorite non-chocolate candy.

So fun to read random facts about you. I loved the one about the good old cartoons. Watching the clips took me back to my childhood days.
