Rescue Heroes to the…rescue!

Tuesday night we had a Christmas party with Ian’s side of the family. Some are going out of town so we did a little celebrating early. Liam got to open a present from grandma which was this Rescue Hero. They are a Fisher Price toy that is discontinued, but like true toy fashion, they just upgraded to planet heroes or something like that. Liam’s cousin has some and he loves to play with them…realistically, they love to fight over them!

Needless to say, she found them at Big Lots for a phenomenally great price so I dragged Ian there yesterday to see what else they had to offer. We bought some for Christmas and then some for his birthday in a few months. I was lost on what really to get him because now he is in the in between stage of not longer a baby, but becoming a boy. I looked online just now to find this picture and found out that they are selling for $30-$40 bucks! I LOVE IT when you find a great deal on something that you have been wanting for a while.

I have never seen Rescue heroes. It looks like a toy Liam does like. Good job. He loves them and will like the others.

I was looking for a Barbie carriage online for Eden for Christmas and found it for $45 on Amazon. I thought “man that’s expensive”. So I started calling around because I didn’t want to pay shipping on top of that price. Nobody had it. I called 7 stores. Finally the WalMart in Orem had it and for $20! They only had two left. I ran my kids to a friend and drove straight there. I couldn’t believe Amazon’s ridiculous price but I guess it was in demand.
It’s amazing the efforts we make to get our kids something we know they’ll like.
