Saving My Pennies

There are areas in my life where I like to save money.

Like when I shared this tutorial with you.

You aren’t going to be rolling around in thousands of dollars at the end of the year,

but maybe some dollar bills with this next tip!

I am a firm believer that it all adds up, though.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to share this with you!

I’ve been doing it for years and it’s one of my favorite penny pinching ideas.

I became a fan of foam soaps years ago when they first came out.

I would splurge here and there, but they are pretty expensive for just…foam.

I saved my containers (I have them in my kitchen and bathrooms)

and decided to fill them myself.

I prefer Dial’s Pomegranate & Tangerine, but

they also have a White Tea Leave that smells really good.

Whatever liquid soap refill you use, just make sure

you do not use a moisturizing one or one that has beads in it.

It will clog up your pump.
Fill your container about 1/4 full of soap.
Fill almost full with warm water.
Replace the pump cap.

Place your thumb on the opening (so you won’t get splashed)

and give it a couple good shakes until the soap and water are combined together.

The refill soap almost last me a year and only cost around $6.00!

Cool, right?
