Dear Journal,
It’s been forever since I’ve written! So much has happened since my last entry. I’m a little tired so I will have to fill you in later. I promise that I will write every day to catch up with my life.

Did you ever write entries like that in your journal? In the past I have looked through my old journals and they were filled with them. Sometimes I feel like I do that with my blog. I am going to try not to do that with this entry, though.

First of all…thank you so much for all your sweet sentiments and caring emails. It really means a lot to me. I know a ton of you check back with me here on Thursday to see how everything went and I am just now getting you updated. Sorry.
Tuesday wasn’t too bad looking back on it. I am not one who fasts very well (hence my ugly weight), but who really does “like” going without food. I have had some family members who have gone on liquid diets (for medical reasons) and I don’t know how they survived without maiming every one around them! It just makes me grumpy. I really did try to hold back the bad mood for Ian and Liam’s sake. Like I mentioned the whole laxative thing is not a fun experience. Especially when you have to drink a WHOLE GALLON with in 4 hours! NASTY!!! However the upside is that I lost 5 lbs. My sister-in-law and her kids came over with my little brother-in-law to help keep me on track with it until Ian got home from work. It’s nice to have support around.
The next morning I went in for my procedure and was just wishing the minutes away until it was all over with. It’s not bad at all because you are under meds (perk) but I was just dreading the outcome. All said and done, I am in the middle of a flair-up, which I kinda could guess since I haven’t been feeling well. He took a biopsy so crossing my fingers that it comes back okay. The doctor put me back on the medication I was taking before, but just upped the dose. I had a lot of ulcers that were bleeding so we are going to take it easy and hope that the meds do their job. He took pictures which are so intriguing, but I will totally save you from viewing them…I don’t want you to be grossed out and stop reading my blog! Ian was the best nurse. He gets upset when I don’t feel well because he can’t fix it, but he held in there and took great care of me. I am feeling okay, but still totally tired. Hopefully I can get back on track and get some energy back soon.
Ian took Thursday and Friday off as well so we got to hang out with each other and just chill. We went shopping at a nearby outlet mall, saw Wall-E (cute) and went to a birthday party of one of our friend’s son who turned 3. It was Liam’s first birthday party and he absolutely loved it. He is such a people person. Every day he gets more and more personality. The other day he brought Ian his wipes and diaper, which he has never done before, and it turned out he was in need of a change. Ian and I laughed forever about that. I am sure he would use the toilet if he could tell me he need to. That would be the best to have a potty-trained 18 month old! Then we could save that diaper money and go on a cruise! I am just rambling now….thanks for thinking of me and keeping in touch!

I poured half that crap down the drain. I couldn’t stomach it. I made the huge mistake of mixing it with gatorade and can never drink gatorade again.

I hope everything turns out okay! I know I was freaked about it, but we had no idea what was causing all the problems. I’ll have to call and trade stories with you some time =0) Won’t that be lovely!

I am sorry about the liquid diet thing. Nasty. But now it is over and I know you are glad as well and hopefully feeling better soon. You are a trooper. Ian is a very good nurse. Liam might be potty-trained soon. That would be great.

I’m glad you’re feeling better. I have a question? Did you know that Tori Spelling is stealing all of your baby names?? For real. Haha.
