If you were thinking about making these muffins…don’t….just yet. I have a confession. I have never made them before and so I didn’t pay too close attention to the amount of ingredients. My aunt Ellen informed me that it might want to be altered a bit…as she had to clean a huge mess off the bottom of her oven. So, when I get back from vacation I will test them out for myself and post a “revised” version. So sorry if you have already made them, hate me and have banned yourself from ever reading my blog again!

And I have hijacked my own blog back! Love you Ian!

    Ok, so I was telling my mom about the recipe because I almost made them a few days ago and she thinks that the problem is the same one she had with her banana bread recipe. When baking soda and sour cream are mixed together it puffs up, expands, so she always mixes those two things together and lets them sit while she mixes all the other ingredients together and by the time she is done with that the baking soda/sour cream mixture has calmed down and wont puff up while you are baking it. I am going to give it a try today and let you know how it goes.

    Well I made them the way that I explained and they didnt explode, they collapsed. Ha Ha! What the heck!
