through the movie without falling asleep. We are getting old. Ian’s nickname is grandpa because he loves to go to be so early so I was so proud of him for trudging through. We both really loved the movie and I thought it was the best out of the 5 so far. It’s crazy to think that they are going to make 7 of these. I remember that when we lived in Texas we both took the day off to see a matinée of the first Harry movie. We thought it wouldn’t be packed, but we were wrong. I don’t think I have seen so many kids in a theater with limited adult supervision. Hollywood Theater must have had a snack special because when you looked back over the audience you saw a sea of black rimmed plastic glasses (tape around the middle of course) with little eyes peeking around while eating popcorn. I was so surprised when the movie started because the room got so incredibly quiet and stayed that way through the whole thing. Last night we showed up 1 1/2 hours early thinking we would be one of the firsts in line…wrong…try about 50th or 60th. There was a teenage boy around 17 with a t-shirt that read,”I love Hermione Granger.” Not to mention freakish fans that wore capes and dressed up as Hogwarts students. Gotta love ’em!
(Thanks Ian for the wonderful date night…WOW…two date nights in one week! What is a girl to do?)
The first date night was really a lunch in Texas that I cannot wait to tell you about…but I will! Save it for another entry to keep the now 4 readers in suspense!
