Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread with Streusel Topping

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread is even better with Streusel Topping!  A great texture and even better taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 1 1/4 Cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 2 Cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Streusel Topping

  • 6 TBSP Butter, Melted
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. 
  • Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside. 
  • In a large bowl, cream together sugar, eggs, pumpkin and oil.
  • In another medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. 
  • Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until just combined. 
  • Gently stir in chocolate chips. 
  • Pour into loaf pan and set aside.
  • For streusel, combine butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. 
  • Sprinkle evenly over batter and bake for 55-60 minutes. 
  • Let it cool for 10 minutes then turn out onto rack and cool completely.
