Yes, my blog is still wonky and no, I Ian did not work on it over the weekend. We had some great company in town and were busy having too much fun and eating at the ever so delish Pappasitos. We also did some shopping at Home Goods for the first time and can’t wait to share my favorite item we bought with you.

But, as promised I have one fabulous giveaway for all of you, my loyal readers! This year as one of my goals, I wanted to have giveaways on this little ol’ blog to give back to you. I haven’t ever received a negative comment and am always uplifted by your kind words. I am shocked when I check out your blogs and see that I am linked to some wonderful and inspiring blogs. It brings a smile to my face!

For my very first giveaway I couldn’t have done it without my good friend, Kristie. She and I met years ago when I was working at KMA (a scrapbooking store that has since turned to strictly an online store). We’ve been to Las Vegas and Chicago for scrapbook conventions and she is a riot to be with. She is one of the few people I know that is very funny and knows a lot about a lot of things. Well, she wrote a book. WHO DOES THAT? I am finding out that super cool people do. She has started a new series and the first book came out this winter. It’s called “The Trait”. I had the opportunity to read it over Christmas and truly cannot wait until the spring when the second book, “The Promise” comes out. While reading the book I decided that it’s kind of like a romatic X-men/Heroes with a hint of Twilight-ness. It’s not an ‘in-your-face’ saucy romance novel, but more like real life love story with intriguing super powers! The moment I finished it I emailed Kristie and asked begged her to let me give one of these books away to you.

She is generous enough to be giving away not only a hard bound novel, but a T-shirt with the Affected graphic design on it as well! I have one of these t-shirts and let me tell you, it’s not the cheapy kind that makes you look like you are 12 and you need to roll up the sleeves…it’s super soft and ultra flattering. Sizes S, M, L, XL.

Seriously, the ability to divide myself into as many selfs as needed to get everything done with proper attention paid to every event and then regroup at the end of the day with a full recollection of what "I" accomplished.

As of right now I would love to fly! I'm currently going back to school and working (both full time) so I find myself running back and forth between work and school. It's expensive (gas wise) and time consuming. If I were able to fly it would save me money AND time! 🙂

I hope I win! I LOVE reading! here's my email just incase: alberta@loosle.net

How fun!!! If I had a super power it would be the ability to add more hours in the day when I need them and take a few away when I want the day to move along! I would get SO MUCH more done!!!

I would like to be invisible when I so desire. :)Really, think about how handy that would be to be able to disappear at certain moments? Oh, AND (I guess I want two- is that legal?) I would love to have the power to burn calories by simply thinking about eating something delicious!

I totally want to be able to time travel! I live so far away from family, it would be awesome to just be able to blink and be there with them. Is that considered time travel?? 😉 or to be a "jumper" (that movie…with Hayden Christensen, haha).

I would definitely want the power to not need sleep. As for more "traditional" super powers, I guess I would want to fly.

I would love to be able to make everyone well with a touch of my hand. Having sick kids may have something to do with my wish. I guess I would also like to have the power to do my laundry by just thinking about it.
