There are only two items included in this recipe and one of them is chicken.

I’ll share the other if you’re interested.
Leave the word SAUCE on this Reel and I’ll send it over!

It’s the easiest dinner and my family loves this served over rice with a side of broccoli or roasted asparagus.

Have you ever taken a bite of a sandwich or burger

with a few strips of bacon on it and the moment your teeth sink into it, the bacon always falls out the other end?

This prevents (most of) that from happening. Or if you are avoiding carbs all together, this as the bun for an egg and cheese sandwich would be phenomenal.

How to:
*You need 15 strips of your favorite bacon.
*Line a baking sheet with a parchment sheet.
*Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
*You’ll get 6 bacon patties and just place them evenly apart.
*Bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven and flip over.
* Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until bacon is to your preferred doneness.
*Drain on a paper towel and enjoy!

-If you like thick cut, you’ll need to cook it for about 5-10 minutes longer.

I like crispy bacon, but I bake these patties slightly less because they continue to crisp up as they cool down. If you over cook them, it tends to be harder to eat when putting on a burger or sandwich.

I can send you a link to my favorite Parchment Paper if you want. It makes for easier clean up! Just comment PAPER.

Can you guess the emotion they all felt the most?

I can’t help if I want to fill my own candy machine

with some of my favs that happen to be gummy.

It’s fine.

I don’t believe people when they say that salads

are their favorite foods.

Have they had a really good French Dip sandwich?
What about triple layer chocolate cake?

I will say, though, that of all the salads out there, this one’s my fav.

Follow along if you like all foods….including salads!

*Spinach Almond Salad for those looking for the recipe on my page.

But you know I still needed these non-candy class valentines to be food related, right?

There are 30 packs of building block kits and I know these are going to sell out FAST!

Then each classmate can build their own little creation.

These could also be used for treasure boxes, little thank you gifts or party favors.

Comment FOOD for details!

Name one candy that’s worse than

black licorice!

Breaking out the ol’ candy machine to refill it with
the best candy this time of year!

@jollyrancher Jelly Hearts are top tier.

Anyone else feel like they are just in survival mode some holidays?

Years ago I decided to take back some of my sanity with the kids off school and all the (sometimes) daily events happening. I create this paper station and keep it out all break long.

What I didn’t realize is that it would actually give me some time back as well, so I could spend that more with my loved ones.

I do this at the beginning of summer just to ease in everything.

This also is super helpful if you have company coming to stay. Then they don’t have to awkwardly look through your drawers and cabinets to try to find what they need.

Save and share!

I know. I know. I’m ready for some comments I might get regarding using disposables.

But a sane mom during holiday break is a happy one.

I create this little set up every Christmas break and at the beginning of summer break when my boys are home from school.

It’s also my go to for when we have company come stay with us. I find it helps them feel more comfortable to help themselves. It lessens them not feel awkward opening cabinet doors or drawers looking for something.

Send this to someone you know will find it helpful!!

It’s a 1-1-1 ratio.

1 cup cold mashed potatoes
1 TBSP butter (or a little less)
1 TBSP milk or half and half

Microwave for 1 minute and stir to combine.

Perfect every time!

It’s the little things in life.

What’s your signature order at @chickfila ?

Mine?
I have two depending on the day. IYKYK.

*Side Salad with Avocado Ranch topped with an
8 count Nugget
Diet Dr. Pepper

*No. 3 with Honey (not honey mustard) and Zesty Buffalo
Side of Cheese Sauce (for my waffle fries)
Large Diet Dr. Pepper

And if you’re wondering why a Chick-fil-A sandwich was my topped ordered…I have three teenage sons who could each eat 4 if I let them.

I don’t think you’d believe me when I say

I have a mild obsession with toast.

Not really what you thought the direction of this Reel was going in, did you?

Because of that hyperfocus I have this toast stand I bought from @heirloomartco a few years ago.

Ask me how many times I’ve used it to hold my toast.

Zero.

But I still love it and find lots of way to use it.

This holiday season use a toast stand/rack to display your festive paper goods. Mine come from @mymindseyeinc .

And if you want, I can share a similar toast stand that is equally as darling!
