I know you might be thinking.

That’s too much bacon.

But it’s actually 2 1/2 slices per square. Which in my opinion makes the perfect addition to any burger or sandwich.

How to make:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut 1 lb of bacon in half.
Lay down three half pieces side by side on parchment paper.
Basket weave in 3 more half slices like shown in video.
Bake for 15 minutes and flip over.
Cook for an additional 10 minutes or longer for crispier squares.
*If using thick cut bacon you will need to cook it longer.
Drain onto a paper towel and serve.
