Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie dough baked to perfection in a skillet! Crispy on the edges and gooey in the center. Top with a few scoops of ice cream and have everyone just dig in!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter Cold and Cubed
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 TBSP Cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Lightly spray 10″ ceramic cast iron pan.
  • In a large stand mixer cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
  • Add in egg and vanilla and beat well.
  • Mix in baking powder, baking soda, salt, cornstarch and flour until just blended.
  • Add in chocolate chips and mix until incorporated.
  • Spread evenly into skillet.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown and the middle is slightly gooey.  Do not over bake.
  • Cool for 5 minutes and serve with ice cream.
