  • Food Processor

  • 4 15 oz Canned Diced Tomatoes Drained
  • 1 8 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 8 oz Diced Green Chilis
  • 1/2 Medium Purple Onion
  • 2 Bunches Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper Stem and seeds removed
  • 4 Green Onions
  • 4 Garlic Cloves

  • 1 Jalapeno Optional

  • Drain each can of diced tomatoes and pour into a food processor.
  • Pour in tomato sauce and green chilies.
  • Rough chop purple onion and green bell pepper and add to the food processor.
  • Remove the rough stems from the cilantro and trim off the roots from the green onions. Add both to the food processor.
  • Add in the peeled garlic cloves, salt and sugar.
  • Pulse for 30-60 seconds until finely chopped, but not pureed.
  • Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and let it chill for 24 hours before serving.
  • *If adding in the jalapeno remove the stem and blend it with the other ingredients. The spiciness level depends on if you add the seeds or not.
