Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate has become a classic holiday drink! Made with good quality chocolate, your favorite caramel sauce and Himalayan Pink Salt! All simmered together with scalding half and half makes this recipe super comforting.
Servings 2 servings
- 2 Cups Half and Half
- 6 oz. Good Quality Dark Chocolate
- 4 TBSP Caramel Sauce
- 1/8 tsp Morton® Coarse Himalayan Pink Salt
- 1 Cup Whipping Cream
- 2 TBSP Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Pour two cups of half and half into a medium size sauce pan.
Grate 6 oz of good quality dark chocolate and add it to the half and half.
Add in 4 tablespoons of caramel sauce
Sprinkle in 1/8 tsp Morton® Coarse Himalayan Pink Salt.
Whisk together ingredients and turn on heat to medium.
Bring the hot chocolate to a simmer and cook until the chocolate is melted.
Pour into a large mug and top with a dollop of freshly whipped cream.
Drizzle with more caramel sauce and sprinkle with Morton® Coarse Himalayan Pink Salt.
Makes two servings.
