Let’s not spread any hate to those who’s favorite flavor of ice cream is vanilla. I might not understand it, but they deserve love, too! I also had a hard time understanding why @bluebellicecream paused making the best ice cream flavor on the planet. I will argue for days that Groom’s Cake is top tier in the flavor department. Give me chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake pieces, chocolate-covered strawberry hearts, strawberry sauce, and chocolate icing any day of the week! It was the winning flavor in Blue Bell’s “The Great Scoop Revival” flavor tournament and you better believe that I voted every single moment I could to help make that happen. Today in honor of wedding season they are not only bringing back Grooms Cake, but also Brides Cake! It’s a luscious almond ice cream with white cake pieces surrounded by a rich amaretto cream cheese icing swirl. And don’t make eye contact with me when you see my cart full of Grooms Cake when shopping at @heb Are you passionate about ice cream? Tell me your most favorite flavor!!

Without thinking I told our middle son when he was 4 that ham was just pink chicken because he’d only eat chicken. It wasn’t until years later I realized how that was not great for when he started to cook on his own. But ham then became his favorite and then it got him to eat beef so it’s only a partial regret. *I promise when you join me here on Instagram, there will be no actual pink chicken in any of my recipes! My mom very rarely did these two things. Baked. And made things from scratch. With the exception of these Banana Muffins. The chocolate chips are my addition to this recipe, but it’s the secret the secret ingredient that makes these so soft and fluffy.
