To be fair, there was one chicken left, but it was smaller than usual and I buy 2 at a time because there’s nothing that a @costco rotisserie chicken can’t fix. Follow if you’re the same age, too!!

No one ever believes me when I tell them the number 1 trick to preventing your apples from turn brown. After you cut them simple rinse them under cold tap water and place in an airtight container. Send this to your mom friend who has the child who refuses to eat the apples they packed in their lunch because they got “brown”. Btw, you need this homemade caramel recipe. Comfort food at its finest. (Recipe below) Save this and follow for more! Here’s what you need: 1 TBSP Butter 1 TBSP Olive Oil 1 Shallot Finely Diced 2 Cups Acini Di Pepe 6 Cups Chicken Broth 3/4 Cup Parmesan Freshly Grated Zest 1 Lemon Juice 1 Lemon 1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream Salt Pepper Here’s how to make it: -In a large, heavy bottom pot saute finely diced shallots in butter and olive oil over medium high heat until tender. -Add in acini di pepe pastina and toast for about 1 minute, stirring frequently. -Pour in chicken broth and reduce heat to medium low. -Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the liquid is reduced by 3/4. Stir frequently to reduce scorching. -Add in parmesan cheese and stir until melted. -Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice -Taste for salt and pepper.
