Do you ever wish you could go

back and just give yourself a big hug?

Being a mom of 3 busy boys left me feeling like I was drowning.

I had yearned, wished and prayed to be a mom for years.

I didn’t plan on it being so hard for me. I felt lost, invisible and exhausted.

I wish I could just go back and tell myself to take a breath and that I was actually doing a fantastic job.

Life goes by too fast to worry about the small stuff. So enjoy your life today.

You know those rumors you’ve heard

about teenage boys and how much they eat?

I can confirm they are all TRUE!!

They basically eat everything.

Unless it’s a salad. That’s one thing my 3 boys still won’t touch.

This happens to be my all time favorite salad and I want to share it with you, since my boys wont eat it.

3 things I do when it comes to cooking steak.

I’ll be upfront and let you know it’s just been in the last few months that that I’ve been practicing cooking the most perfect steak.

I used to over cook it (I even cooked it a bit too long in this Reel).

I also would season it right before I put it in the pan. It was a light bulb moment when I figured out why that was wrong.

*Let your steaks sit out on the counter for a good 30-60 minutes before you even turn the stove on. This ensures better cook time throughout.

*Season your steaks right after you’ve taken them out of the fridge. While they are resting and coming to room temp they will absorb those flavors.
If you don’t, those seasonings just get stuck to the pan and you’ve wasted it. I love, love, love using @amsalt.co and don’t be afraid to use a lot of it.

*Stainless steel is best. Unless you are comfortable using cast iron (which most aren’t) stainless steel gives you an incredible crust on your steak.

How do you even go about choosing the right

audio to match the vibes of a Reel showcasing your favorite hot dog cutting tool?

Better yet, why do you even need a hot dog cutting tool?

You don’t.

But we are going on 3 summers in with using @slotdogdotcom and I’m never looking back.

There’s something purely satisfying about having the perfect crosshatch on a mediocre hot dog that simply turns it into the best hot dog you’ve ever had.

I also use it when I grill zucchini and feel like an old school Food Network Celebrity!

Leave HOT DOG in the comments and I’ll share the info with you shortly including how long I cook these in the air fryer.

*It’s only second to actually grilling them.

Are kids these days even allowed to

lick the beaters anymore?

Between the ages of 4-9 years old I felt it was my actually duty to get every last drop when my mom would pass the beaters over after she had whisked the brownie or cake batter.

My three teenage boys have dialed down their enthusiasm over this job since they were little.

So now I’m glad I found this silicone attachment that scrapes everything off for me.

If you have a Kitchenaid stand mixer you need to have this on hand. They come in different sizes.

This is my oldest son who’s graduating HS whether I, his mom, am ready or not.

Those who know him, love him.

I won’t go into any gushy details as to not embarrass him, but this Baylor bound son of mine truly is one of the best gifts I have ever received.

*This social media creator isn’t afraid to embarrass him and shout it from the rooftops that he nailed the idea, execution, edit and sound on this Reel. He 100% did this on his own. I’m just posting it to share because he barely showed interest in IG just last week and his account is private.

Let’s not spread any hate to those who’s favorite

flavor of ice cream is vanilla.

I might not understand it, but they deserve love, too!

I also had a hard time understanding why @bluebellicecream paused making the best ice cream flavor on the planet.

I will argue for days that Groom’s Cake is top tier in the flavor department.

Give me chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake pieces, chocolate-covered strawberry hearts, strawberry sauce, and chocolate icing any day of the week!

It was the winning flavor in Blue Bell’s “The Great Scoop Revival” flavor tournament and you better believe that I voted every single moment I could to help make that happen.

Today in honor of wedding season they are not only bringing back Grooms Cake, but also Brides Cake! It’s a luscious almond ice cream with white cake pieces surrounded by a rich amaretto cream cheese icing swirl.

And don’t make eye contact with me when you see my cart full of Grooms Cake when shopping at @heb

Hear me out on this hot topic.

The summer heat is coming, but it might be somewhat bearable with this Watermelon Slush.

Yesterday I saw watermelons in my grocery store for the first time this season and got a little giddy thinking I’ll be able to sip on these soon.
