Strawberry Basil Lemonade

Strawberry Basil Lemonade might just be your new favorite drink! It’s made with fresh strawberries, fragrant fresh basil, lemon juice straight from the lemon, a bit of granulated sugar and water. Pour this over cold ice and you have the perfect springtime or summertime beverage!

Homemade Lemonade

I have always been a lemonade girl.  It was something I always look forward to ordering whenever we ate out as a family.  That and Shirley Temples!  It wasn’t until I was a lot older I discovered you could add flavors to lemonade.  Mango, blackberry, vanilla…the possibilities are endless!

I find it best to use freshly juiced lemon juice! It tastes more fresh and I use my MOST favorite Citrus Juicer. It’s stainless steel and it lays flat in your drawer.

I love it so much I actually went and bought two basil plants at Trader Joe’s so I could always have basil on hand!  This would be great for a spring picnic or just keep pitchers of it on hand during those hot summer months!

You can also use sparkling water instead of still if you like little bubbles in your drink!
