It’s something I haven’t been able to stop talking about. Spending an entire week at @movarafitnessresort was something I didn’t know I actually needed. Well, if I’m being honest, yes, I knew my body needed it. Desperately. I just didn’t know how much my mind needed it as well. You’ll go hiking, walking, make new friends, more walking, meals made for you, pool time, walking, circuit training, gym time and yes, walking. There a full service spa as well that you can walk to on site. (Trevor transformed my sore muscles!) I’ve kept on walking and walking and am finally feeling like myself. Not sure I’ve ever felt that. It’s time to invest in yourself. Your body and your mind. Go start, or even reset and spend a week (or 3) there. I might be the only one who has ever done this, but I wanted to quit before I even started. My fitness journey is long overdue and I’ll be forever grateful for the very first moment I stepped into @movarafitnessresort . Having a chronic illness for more than half my life has always left me in pain, or healing from surgeries to help relieve me from that pain. So much so I had to get my colon removed a few years ago. I knew I was capable of hard things, but this was a whole new level of a mental and physical game I had never played before and it made me nervous. Happy to report that it’s been 6 weeks since my full week at Movara and I’m still going strong on my goals!! It was the jumping off point I needed to discover the confidence that was there all along. Theres bacon in each bit and none of it is falling out the other side! Plus make these ahead of time and just crisp them up a bit once you’re ready to serve.
