Next time you walk by these @reeses White Chocolate Ghost and don’t grab them because you’re not a fan of white chocolate, put a bag in your cart anyway. There’s plenty of chocolate in these black brownies to make up for it. Have you ever used black cocoa powder? If not, this has to be the season you do. It not only elevates a bit of richness to what you’re making, it also makes every Halloween dessert that much better. You can always add some mayonnaise or mustard if you like. My kids prefer them without. That’s the thing about prepping your child’s lunch ahead of time. You can make them to their preference! I make a big batch of these small turkey subs at the beginning of the month, stick them in the freezer then on school mornings me or my boys pull one out and pack it in their lunchbox. This works with any sort of lunch meat and any cheese. My two oldest really like lettuce on theirs, but it doesn’t freeze well. So I just add it the morning they will eat it. Option 2 is going to be a favorite school lunch for your kids. And to answer a question I got asked in my Option 1 Reel is yes, my kids eat these cold. However, some of your kid’s lunchrooms have microwaves and that is even better! Chicken Alfredo Roll Up are a cinch to make and only take 8” flour tortillas Baby Spinach or Romaine Shredded Mozzarella Cheese or Parmesan Cooked Shredded Chicken (I use rotisserie) Alfredo Sauce You can make them up to three days ahead and remember to tuck in a cold pack in their lunch box. Just a little late night snack. 10 oz. Mini Marshmallows 3 TBSP Butter 6-8 cups Strawberry Milkshake Frosted Flakes Over medium heat melt together marshmallows and butter. Pour in flakes and stir. Spread out onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Um, why is this something I only learned a few years ago and then thought everyone knew and didn’t tell me? Then from these comments I got after sharing some lunch ideas on my IG Stories, I came to understand not everyone does know. Using a spoon loosens the pressure on a brand new jar and makes its SO SIMPLE to open. Option 1 when it comes to a few different school lunch ideas for your kids. These Pepperoni Pizza Roll Ups are way less messy than those little kits you buy at the grocery store. You can add what ever toppings your child likes. Simply roll the whole thing up in a fajita sized tortilla and give them some pizza dipping sauce. What you might not know is not everything is as it seems. Okay, you most likely knew that. At lease I hope you do. Like this bowl of my Cowboy Caviar. The bowl I wanted to style it in was a little too big and it would have looked wimpy in it. So I placed an upside down smaller bowl on the inside to help boost up the middle. I’m a firm believer in sharing a 70/30 balance of reality here in Instagram. If you follow me in Stories then you’re familiar with this. 70% of the mouthwatering recipe image, spotless kitchen, and “perfect” captions and Stories. 30% of average life and sometimes the lows. Like poor health, a dinner flop and my favorite, bloopers (check out my highlights!). We all love to look at pretty pictures and videos. But if we don’t have that balance of small doses of real life then we tend to get a little lost in ourselves. You know what I mean?
