Halloween Eyeball Appetizer might not be the most pleasing thing to look at, but I think that’s the whole point. Made with small mozzarella balls, thinly sliced deli ham and stuffed green olives. Such a simple addition to your spooky gathering.
When it comes to eery food for your Halloween party, I’ve got you covered. You can make this Cheeseball Hand to put on your ghoulish table. These little Ghost Hand Pies aren’t terribly spooky, but rather delicious. If you are looking more sweet treats, my Graveyard Pudding Cups are a classic must.

All you need for an eery appetizer
- 12 Slices Smoked Deli Ham. I like to have the grocer deli slice it on a 1. This helps when you are folding and shaping it.
- 24 Mozzarella Ciliegines. You can buy them like this or you can cut your own mozzarella balls into cherry tomato sized pieces.
- 24 Pimento Stuffed Green Olives. They don’t have to be fancy.
How To Make a Halloween Appetizer
- Drain and gently pat dry mozzarella ciliegine.
- Cut off about 1/3-1/2 of each olive bottom. Depending on how big each one is will determine how much you need to cut off.
- Cut each slice of ham in half width wise.
- Using a sharp paring knife, cut a hole In each mozzarella ball, not going all the way though. You are creating a cavity for the olive to fit in.
- Place an olive with the pimento side up in the center of each mozzarella ball.
- Accordion fold each slice of ham and wrap it around each mozzarella ball. Be sure to tuck the ends in under the bottom to hold it all into place.
- Place in an airtight container and chill until ready to serve.
- *Will last 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
