Ingredients

  • 1 Deep Dish Frozen Pie Crust In a tin pie pan
  • 8 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 3/4 Cup Diced Ham
  • 1/2 Cup Green Onions Thinly Sliced, both white and green parts
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper Freshly Cracked
  • 1/2 tsp Flaky Salt

Instructions

  • Thaw frozen crust on the counter for 30 minutes
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Pierce across the bottom of the crust with a fork 8-10 times and place onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake crust for 10 minutes and remove from oven.
  • Reduce heat to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt and pepper until very well blended.
  • Evenly sprinkle the bottom of the crust with 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • Sprinkle diced ham and thinly sliced green onions over the cheese.
  • Gently pour egg custard mixture over the fillings.
  • Top with remaining cheeses.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes or until center is just set (no longer jiggly) and crust and top is golden brown.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This recipe can easily be doubled.  Most frozen pie crusts that come in a pie tin already come in two.
